There area lot of great virtual reality products on the market and its constantly evolving.  We’re aiming to trail all the latest devices in multiple aged care and health care settings to provide you with the most up to date information.

At the moment we are still recommending Samsung Gear VR, due to its use of Oculus technology, its portability and the current App Store. Its light, easy to use and many of the programs on the oculus store are perfect Elderly clients. in fact there is something for all ages on the every growing app store. Thats why in our opinion it is still the best for this market.

Another great product we are currently using in some facilities is the HTC Vive headset

We are currently working with a Melbourne University to research the health benefits of Virtual Reality on the elderly. For this trial we will be using the HTC Vive Headsets. 

There are also great products on the market regarding cameras and editing equipment. Many aged care homes are starting to create their own programs for clients which is getting easier due to the ever advancing camera and software. Samsung have realised some great VR Cameras which can be found here
